San Francisco, CA – In response to many users experiencing difficulty running the Startgg website on various platforms such as desktop computer, Startgg announced a new desktop app as an alternative way to access their eSports tournament platform.
“We’ve heard your requests,” said Nathan Waller, community manager for Startgg. “Many of our users reported issues trying to use our website at tournaments, so today I’m proud to announce the new Startgg desktop app, coming soon to the Microsoft Store.”
At a staggering file size of 40gbs, the new app will reportedly cut down load times across the board by approximately 20%. These improvements aim to make it easier than ever to discover, host, and register for various eSports events. The impressive new app can even allow users to view and navigate tournament brackets on their PC.
At press time Waller also mentioned that they considered making a mobile app as well, but there didn’t seem to be enough demand for it.
