Man Hates Favorite Fighting Game for 6th Consecutive Patch

Orlando, FL — Expressing concerns regarding the latest update to Dragonball FighterZ, local player Kyle “GogetaFan420” Murray has, for the sixth consecutive patch, declared that the game he loves most is now “completely ruined.”

“I’ve never seen a dumber patch than this one,” said Murray about the latest patch, and the previous five. “They literally don’t know what they’re doing anymore. I swear it’s like they’re just trying to piss me off.”

Despite his vocal frustration, Murray spent the entire weekend grinding ranked matches and practicing new combos in training mode. “This game is unplayable now,” he muttered during a 10-hour Twitch stream, in which he continued playing match after match, visibly distraught the entire time.

“Kyle’s always claiming each patch is the final nail in the coffin, but I don’t think he’s ever actually stopped playing for more than a day,” said Alex “UltraInstinct” Evans, a fellow DBFZ player and competitor. “He’ll complain about the game nonstop, but everytime I log onto Steam he’s online playing it.”

Murray also continues to attend nearly every local DBFZ tournament, where he can be found passionately arguing with other players about the current meta. After each tournament loss, he always attributes his defeat to the latest patch, insisting that the game “takes no skill now.”

At press time, Murray was seen smashing his controller in frustration after another crushing defeat online. When asked why he doesn’t just move on to something he might find more enjoyable, the exhausted DBFZ veteran sighed, “There’s nothing else to play.”
